Marmalade Brunch House

This place is awesome. The place is clean, cute decor, you can see the put a lot of thought in the details. The food taste amazing. I’ve had perfect omelette and Ratatouille eggs and both were delicious. Orange juice is freshly squeezed too. Alcohol after 10:30 am on Sundays though. Service staff is very friendly too, Maria was awesome.

We're on a mission to try new breakfast places. Marmalade did not disappoint. The food was flavorful and attractive to the eye. It wasn't just looks. 😁 The server was very polite and patient with us. We didn't know what to eat and she had some great suggestions. The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming and the mimosas, well, you'll have to try those yourself.

Was looking for brunch options and came across Marmalade. I'm glad we came, their food was great and their service was phenomenal. We forgot about Utah liquor laws and had a wait about 20 minutes until we could order mimosas and bloody marys but it was worth the wait and the server was prompt at helping us as soon as we could order. They also have a lot of gluten-free options which is another reason we came here. We will definitely be coming back.

Cool place! Not because all the windows aren't too insulated against the chilly outside. It's the Retro Chic vibe for the Trendy Cosmopolitan Crowd. The food is over the top. I mean it's good but it's too tasty, too flavorful. It doesn't give your taste buds too take a break! Whew to my tasters! Just needs a little tweaking, I think. When you're spinning the fork around trying to get a bite, check out the decor... "it's groovy man".

We had brunch earlier today. Not very busy at 10:30 am and we were seated immediately. The decor is nice - reminds me of Sunday’s Best, but a lot smaller. The server was nice and gave suggestions on what to order. We ordered the beignets and they were pretty good, could have used more powdered sugar. The issue was that we ordered them to START, but they literally came out with the rest of our food. The food came out FAST - like in pre-made fast. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was COLD. Not it’s been sitting there for a minute warm. It’s like they possibly made it for someone else by mistake and gave it to her instead. It took a while for the server to come back around, so by that time she wasn’t interested in eating anymore. They took her dish off the bill. I would probably try them again to see if it’s better next times my friends definitely will not. We didn’t order any cocktails so I can’t speak to those. My eggs Benedict was good and they didn’t over cook my eggs like most places here do. My husband ordered the burger - he said it was fine. He didn’t like the fries, but I think that was a personal preference and not about the fries themselves. Missed the mark for sure and I felt bad suggesting we go there and my friend ended up leaving without eating. Hopefully it’s just because they are a newer place.

Went at noon on a weekday, and were seated quickly. Ordered the blueberry pancakes with lemon curd and the jalapeño biscuits with sausage gravy. Both were super delicious!! Portion sizes were really big (my pictures below are 1/2 portions- my friend and I split two plates) so and prices seemed totally fair. We’ll bring more friends here for sure, but after reading reviews, probably not on a weekend. Waiter was fast and polite, decor was fun and creative.

One of my favorite meals is brunch and I am so happy I can add this restaurant to my roster of favorite brunch places. This place perfectly combines a beautifully decorated and whimsical atmosphere with a strong focus on classic breakfast food with unique flavors. Few places can successfully do both of these. Now onto the food! The creme brulee French toast was absolutely amazing and was not overly sweet which is what I prefer. But my favorite dish was the bacon jam brie burger. The brie perfectly paired with the crunchy bacon jam to create a unique dish that was the star of the meal. I highly recommend it and can't wait to try more of their menu items. Service was also fantastic! Everyone was so kind from the moment you walked in the door. I will be returning and I hope everyone gets a chance to visit here as well!
